TheVagar is 3.5 km from the centre of Belmonte. Our country house is located in the middle of the Serra da Esperança, in an atmosphere of intense aromas, energetic contacts with mother nature and a return to the origins.

Yes, our rates include regional breakfast. Breakfast is served between 09:00 and 11:00. If you have any food restrictions, please let us know.

Reception is open until 22h00. If you cannot arrive until this time please contact us as early as possible to ensure your check-in, at a time to be defined.

We kindly request that you check-in after 15h00. However, if there are rooms available at the time of your arrival, earlier check-in is possible, please contact us if that is your wish. You can also leave your luggage free of charge.

If you wish to hold your room after 12h00 please contact us to verify this possibility. The following additional charges may apply: until 14h00 it costs 25% of the room price, until 16h00 it costs 50% of the room price and after 17h00 it will be applied of the total room cost. You should ask the reception desk in advance if you wish a late check out.

WHAT IS THE RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY?

If the cancellation or change of the reservation occurs up to seven days from the date of booking, there will be no penalty and the total amount of the reservation will be refunded. If the cancellation or change of the reservation occurs on the seventh day or seven days prior to the date of booking, the total amount of the reservation will be lost. If the cancellation occurs during the stay or in the case of a no show, the customer will be charged the full amount of the stay.
 
Prepayment: a prepayment of the total amount of the reservation will be charged at any time. Booking or cancellation conditions may change according to the season.
Note: We pre-authorise the credit card provided in order to guarantee the booking.

TheVagar offers its guests the possibility of charging their electric cars during their stay in accommodation. This service is subject to availability and requires an appointment. A charge of €25 per 4-hour charge applies to the service. 
TheVagar declines all responsibility for damage to parked vehicles and for damage to vehicles due to misuse or poor handling of the equipment.

WHY DID THEVAGAR BECOME “ADULTS ONLY”?

Our Mountain Shelters have, since their creation, been exclusively for adults. This step allows us to follow the same path of coherence and offer, throughout the entire property, the same atmosphere of calm and serenity that defines them. We want every stay at TheVagar to be an experience of tranquillity, introspection, and connection with nature.

It means that the accommodation and all experiences at TheVagar are reserved exclusively for guests aged 16 and over.
